So sit back, relax... trounce around the page then go check out the movies...

employment:

Of course... everyone's always on the look out for a bit of gainful employment... If anyone's interested in my availability for production, pre-production or screenwriting duties, drop me an email via the links at the top or bottom of the page.
You can get a breakdown of my career to date by just looking around the movies section or by ckicking on 'resume' in the menu bar.
If all else fails, check me out on the Internet Movie Database via the links below or by clicking IMDB.

! latest news
Living Doll

After laying hidden in the depths of obscurity for over 15 years... Everyone's favorite teenage necrophilia movie got a DVD release in the USA on July, 26th, 2005.

Mondo Macabro were the guys responsible for ressurrecting this little seen piece of movie history. They did a pretty decent job too and put a whole heap of extras on the DVD - including a fairly lengthy interview with yours truly. It's available pretty much anywhere you can get DVDs in the U.S.A.

You can find out more by clicking on LIVING DOLL from the MOVIES menu above or check out the MONDO MACABRO website by clicking on, well, the name MONDO MACABRO.

buy things:

Oh yes... you didn't think I'd put all this work into something without trying to make just teensiest bit of cash out of it did you?

Yep... if you've been looking around the 'site then you'll have seen that there's now a store where you can spend your hard earned on various bits 'n' pieces... but since you're in the movies section you'll probably be most interested in the new range of merchandise based on my short film 'HorrorShow'.

'But what can I buy?' I hear you ask... well - there's some nifty calendars like those ones there ------>

Click on them to get transported to the store and see what other goodies are on offer.

Other Stuff:

Candy Stripers:

Recently finished a stint as Assistant Director on a little movie called CANDY STRIPERS. It's a fun little tale about candy stripers getting possessed by aliens!
You can check it out on the imdb by clicking on CANDY STRIPERS.

On The Brink:

This was a short that I did Line Producer and Assistant Director duties on back at the end of 2004.
You can check it out at the official website by clicking on ON THE BRINK.

Alone:

Finally got to see the movie as it screened at the AFM (American Film Market) in Los Angeles in February 2002.
Had a little chat with the sales agent for the movie... apparently they've sold it in Scandinavia, Benelux, Hungary, Spain and Argentina... crumbs. No news on sales to the UK.
It's available on DVD in the US from Bedford Entertainment... did try to get in touch with them but they never responded, so no idea on what kinda business it's doing...
Prior to that... the movie was screened at FRIGHTFEST 2001 - held at The Prince Charles Cinema just off Leicester Square in central London over the August Bank Holiday Weekend 24th to 27th 2001.
In November 2001 it was also screened at the Welsh International Film Festival, in Cardiff, Wales (that's in the UK - for the geographically challenged).

spivs - the movie:

Filming was completed on May 4th, 2003 and the movie was released in the UK to... well... let's be generous and just say that it didn't exactly set the world on fire.

After all the shenanigans, the movie ended up starring Ken Stott, Jack Dee, Dominic Monahan and a couple of wonderful little kids... Rita Ora and Christos Zenonos.
If you wanna find out more - get ye clicking on the bit on the nav bar which says SPIVS.

More stuff:

Done a fair bit of production work over the years... which is always nice...

See CANDY STRIPERS and ON THE BRINK above... and watch out for news on DESERT OF BLOOD.

Went back to the UK to work on some international co-productions: "Aime Ton Pere" and a French version of "Robinson Crusoe".

Did a quick stint as Assistant Director on a short film called "Speechless".

You can read about all of the above on the Internet Movie Database.

Worked with a nice lady called Wendy Hammond as her Assistant Director on her short for the AFI (American Film Institute) called "Lehi's Wife".

links:

There's almost too many links that I could put in here... well, that sounds a little presumptuous... I guess the problem is I can't find any links. So we'll have to make do with sending you to the Internet Movie Database:

  • me

  • alone

  • skinner

  • horrorshow

  • living doll

  • If you happen to come across any websites or links which might be interesting or relevant, drop me a line:

  • Miscellaneous Movies:

You probably seen that on the drop down menu under 'movies' up there on the nav bar... so what constitutes a miscellanous movie? Well... they're kinda movies I was involved in... not always my own work and not always movies that are actually movies... there's all sorts of bits 'n' pieces in there... so... really... the only way to explain it is if you go take a look around. Movies of a miscellanous nature.

    things that might have been...

This section could become almost too big to contemplate - as anyone who has ever worked in the business will testify... But here's a little taste of some of the things that might have been and maybe still might...

    Despair:
Back in February 2001 I was fortunate enough to meet up with Jean-Marc and Randy L'Officier and in conjunction with Shane Bitterling, picked up an option on the project, which is based on the novel "La Bete Immonde" by the late Marc Agapit.
"Despair" is a real return to my roots in the 'extreme horror' business. Satisfying on a number of levels, this project revolves around an intriguing psychological tale, decorated with a real sense of the macabre. Feedback described the project as "brutal" and "intense" but a little too brutal and intense.
So... anyway, as we sit here... the option on the project has expired and passed onto someone else... so, it looks like the movie will happen without me, except for the script, but hopefully it'll surface as a movie sometime... I'll let you know.
Current intelligence suggests that Fries Entertainment are involved. I'd still like to be involved in the movie... but unless some money appears from somewhere it's all in the hands of other people... which is the suckiest way for things to be.
You can find out more by clicking here to go to the HollywoodComics website.

    What else...

Digging further into the history books brings us to:

    Formula None and Tomb

not sure what's happening with these ones. Still no news from anyone... Once (or maybe I should change that to 'if') things get a little clearer, I'll let you know... (I've got a horrible feeling things are about as 'clear' as they're gonna get...) unless someone wants to let me know otherwise.
