My Wasted Life - January 23rd, 2008 part 3:

On last week's episode...

Yeah... yeah... I know... February has begun but I never got round to finishing off January... so bear with me while I update...

Where we got to January 2008

A little recap...

Project A: got pushed... no recent news.

Project B: forges ahead... but got pushed a week... no news on whether there's money to pay for the additional week of prep... :(

Big Project: no real momentum. Scouts were pushed cos of thie shitty weather but had to miss that cos of obligations on the paying gig. No sign or news of a bond meeting which is kinda necesary to get the ball rolling and release funds to payroll, etc.

Script A got completed and is being spellchecked, proofread before it goes to the interested party - see, I'm not a total waistrel...

Script B resulted in a meeting which posed more questions than it answered... who the fuck knows where that one is going.

Outstanding Project still refused to pay me - despite my turning up at the office on the day they said they'd cough up some money... nice. Thanks for that.

Oh... and the heating is still off... but the roof is intact. Who'd have thunk that of all the shit I put up here, the one people use to beat me up about is not cleaing out me gutters... what a world.

So that's kinda where we are...

I know this should go on the 'books' page...

But until I update the 'books' page, it'll have to go here.

Your ever-scarin' horror scribe (that's me in case you wuz wunderin') recently did an interview for David Byron of NVH (New Voices of Horror) Magazine.
It's now available to read online at: NVH:

They were also kind enough to publish the short story 'The Way of All Flesh" in the latest issue... so make sure you patronise them by checking out the website and myspace... in fact - add 'em as your friend, that'd be nice.
